Are you interested in pursuing a career in the medical field? Do you enjoy helping the community through service projects?

If so, HOSA may be the club for you.

HOSA stands for, Health Occupation Students of America.  To join this club an interest in health care is a must.

HOSA meets at 7:15 a.m. every first Thursday of every month in room 335.

“It’s never too late to join HOSA,” Chris Cowan, the advisor of HOSA, added.

The club’s main activity is sponsoring the Red Cross blood drive, held once a year, but they also have guest speakers and collect hygiene products for the homeless.

Joining this club will not only educate one more about healthcare careers, but will look good on college applications.

All in all, if a student likes helping the community and making sure that it stays healthy and safe, this is the club to join.

For more information contact either Mr. Cowan, or any of the HOSA  student officers: President; Neetu Kaur, Vice President; Eesha Asim, Sydnie Monson, Shelby Freeman, Carah Nordell, and Rylan Shafer, all seniors.
