The girls golf team won their last duel against Olympus High School at Glendale Golf Course on Tuesday May 1st. It was the last duel for our two seniors on the team Maddy Campbell and Jacque Cropp.

The region championship tournament  was on Wednesday May 9th. The Murray girls took third place behind East High School who took second and Skyline High School who took first place.

Senior Jacque Cropp and sophomore Natalia Ciro tied for eighth place in region, while Maddy Campbell placed seventh in region.

Placing third in region qualified the girls team for state. Only the top six qualify for State.

State competition is Monday May 14 and the 15th at Glenmoor Golf Course in South Jordan.

To continue the second day of State competition as a team, the team as a whole must qualify.

However, if the team as a whole doesn’t qualify, individuals can qualify and go on to represent Murray High.

Good luck Lady Spartans!
