Netflix just released a new movie on the 28th of December of last year adding to the Black Mirror series. Bandersnatch is an interactive movie, in which you choose what decisions the main character Stefan (Fionn Whitehead) makes.

Stefan is a young video game programmer who starts his first video game called Bandersnatch. Based off this, choose your own adventure book from Jerome F. Davies a fictional author that plays a part in the movie.

Throughout the movie you face small choices that affect future ones and over all the ending of the movie. The film is directed by David Slade and written by Black Mirror’s creator Charlie Brooker. The cinematography was shot by Aaron Morton who also did Evil Dead, 6 Days, and The Ferryman among others.

The story line however really depends on what decisions you choose as well. Although there are parts that are not exposed, the main goal is to have your video game reach a five out of five star rating.  Your video game can get various ratings.

Overall this movie has a running time of one hour and thirty minutes. I seemed to quite enjoy it. Even though it is quite interesting to watch on your own.

Watching it in a group setting is more fun and interactive and can possibly help you on reaching that five star rating. When it is time to choose the choices will appear on the screen with a timer of ten seconds. So will you watch it?
