Tryouts for next year’s Latinos in Action (LIA) is after school this Wednesday, May 23.  A sign up sheet is hanging on on Mr. Funk’s door on room 308.

Anyone and everyone is welcome to tryout as long as you have a 2.5 GPA, no U’s on your transcript or as long as you work them off. You don not have to be Latino to be considered for this class.

LIA helps out the community by doing service projects and tutoring little kids at Parkside Elementary.

Being a member of LIA looks great on your college application and it feels good to give back to the community.

Sign up today or show up this Wednesday after school.
