It’s that time of year again. When the best 64 college teams in America get to battle it out on the basketball court. These are usually the games of their lives and it is a lot more important to them than you think. The winner goes home with a trophy, a piece of the net and the feeling that they are the greatest college team in America. This is the playoffs baby and it’s about to go down.

Some college teams that you may not have even heard of are definitely not going down without a fight. There might be another “Cinderella” story this year, as there is always one every year. “Cinderella teams” or “underdogs” are one of the hardest things to figure out in a bracket because you just don’t know how fantastic an underrated team can play. These types of teams are one of those things that can make or break your bracket.

According to the NCAA March Madness app, Oregon is the most popular “Cinderella” pick this year. So be aware of this possible underdog because they will most definitely make or break your near ‘perfect’ bracket.

For most people, including me, enjoy making a bracket or two. It truly is madness as citizens across the United States place bets on their own brackets and teams.

You might even say this is the scariest annual collegiate event in America. There are the people that are very, very serious about just being right. Don’t get me wrong, it’s fun to be right. Some make multiple brackets in their hopes that one of them is mostly correct, or even flawless.

The only downside is getting every win correct rarely happens. The NCAA March Madness app states that after the games played so far, “The odds of a perfect bracket is 1 in 9.2 quintillion.” A number so ridiculously large that it is very much impossible to actually comprehend.

The world through the March Madness app has spoken. Duke is picked as the team to win it all by the majority of users. Out of all the brackets locked into the app, 39.19% of users have chosen Duke, next up is North Carolina with 15.65% of the votes. Duke is by far the most popular team.

Making it to the playoffs is a very difficult task, so I say great job to all of the 64 teams who qualified.

Some games have already been played and to the teams who were knocked out, amazing work.  It’s hard to make the playoffs. Now, good luck to all the teams who are still in this!
